Extrusion with accurate control of
cooking degree and bulk density
The new ECOtwin system from Bühler
consists of pre-conditioner, extruder, and
peripherals, and enables the cooking
degree and the bulk density of extruded
products to be accurately selected and
controlled.
Bühler says the ECOtwin system also
ensures optimal matching of the performance parameters to the specific needs of
the petfood and aquafeed industries.
“In addition,” the company says, “a
large portion of the thermal energy can be
recovered.”
